NRDC issues new warnings on flea and tick products that can be deadly to pets and people. Mentioned here are the Pyrethroids and Tetrachlorvinphos, organophosphates. See http://talknationradio.com/?p=156
Special thanks to James Terbrush and pet owners who were kind enough to speak with us about pets that became sick or died after applications of flea and tick products. See: http://www.elversonpuzzle.com/biospotlettersv3.html

Thanks to the NRDC for their assistance.
Heartbreaking stories continue from pet owners who have lost their dogs or cats after applying flea and tick products. The NRDC and EPA have issued warnings about Pyrethroids, yet when we did routine research we learned that in one case the form of Pyrethroid, Cyphenothrin, in Sergeant's Flea and Tick Squeeze On for Dogs, is actually cockroach poison. They simply reformulated it for your family pet.

NRDC notes that this dangerous chemical is also dangerous to the family, particularly pregnant women and children.
