'Depleted uranium' (= U-235 = nuclear waste) has not gone away. The U.S. military used thousands of tons in bombing and shelling Iraq I, Bosnia, and now Afghanistan and Iraq II. The stuff is as lethal to the shooters as it is to the shot-at, and equally lethal to anyone living anywhere near the battlefield, the manufacturing plant, or the testing grounds. This introduction (or refresher course) features music by David Rovics; talk by KD, Army DU expert Doug Rokke, & journalist Dahr Jamail.
