We discuss the hopeful atmosphere in D.C. during the inauguration, but what about Gaza? What about US policy under Obama toward Israel? Where will escalation in Afghanistan lead us...to war in Iran possibly? What does history teach us that Barack Obama should know?

This program and our future work is dedicated to my late father, David Truskoff. He worked and struggled for peace between Israelis and Palestinians, against the war in Vietnam, then Latin American wars, then Iraq 1 and 2, and while he lay in the hospital after major cancer surgery he watched the TV coverage of Israel's invasion of Gaza with terrible distress. Dad, we'll keep on.
