New York State is fast becoming a land of environmental activists confronting the gas exploitation corporations. The thrilling outshoot of all this good for the Earth human energy being poured out is the reawakening of our love for democracy. It may just be that we will get our democracy back as a result of steely determination to stop the gas companies from ruining the lands, waters and air of New York that we all love.
