Dr. George Schoenstein is the organizer of the 2011 Redwood City PAL (Police Athletic League) Blues Arts and Bar-B-Que Festival in downtown Redwood City at Courthouse Square. As a native of the area and of the Schoenstien Pipe Organ dynasty, he grew up with a with a deep appreciation of music. He got into the blues and the music of the 60's over time, he became the founder and organizer of the PAL Blues Festivals held annually in downtown Redwood City.
The line up will be: Friday Night July 22 6 p.m. Earl Thomas and the Blues Ambassadors The line up for Saturday starting at 11 a.m. will be Blues Cadillac John Le Conqueroo Tip of the Top Ron Hacker and the Hacksaws Rusty Zinn's Roots Reggae Band Mark Hummel with Nathan James Alabama Mike and the 3rd Degree Johnny Rawls
