Drones are robotic aircraft that can carry arms but are also for surveillance. Currently one in every three aircraft in the United States is a drone and over 50 countries have some form of unmanned aircraft. Trevor Timm is an activist and blogger for the Electronic Frontier Foundation. He has been following the development of drones and recently wrote an article for Al Jazeera on the subject.
