Israel shuts down several Palestinian radio stations.
Produced for Dec. 1, 2015, but can air several days later.
Albawaba.com reports that Israel has shut down three radio stations this month in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron. Israeli military forces stormed the Dream Radio station studios Nov. 28, destroying equipment and damaging offices. Israeli forces told station officials that Dream Radio would be off the air for six months due to incitement against Israel. Al-Khalil Radio (Hebron Radio) and the Manbar al-Hurriyya (Freedom Tribune) station were also closed on grounds of incitement. The Jerusalem Post also reports that Israel s airwave war is also online, as the Foreign Ministry is creating software that can find the words knife and Jew on social media. It may be able to find other words too.
