The war in Syria is not a civil war, but rather a typical US war against independent countries. Researcher Stephen Lendman compares it to the dismemberment of Yugoslavia and the destruction of Libya.

Concerning Aleppo, Lendman says that East Aleppo was liberated from terrorists. However, the Western media demonizes the legal players in this fight, Russia, Syria, Iran, Hezbollah, and elevates the terrorists to the status of heroes.

Instead of celebrating the victory, UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon condemned it. As Lendman explains, the UN role is that of a wholly-owned subsidiary of the United States. Symbolic of the misnamed "international community," France turned off the lights on the Eiffel Tower to show how dimly the 'former' colonial powers regarded the defeat of their proxy fighters.
