We'll celebrate the 101st anniversary of Nelson Mandela's birth with two hours of music from the South African anti-apartheid freedom movement. We'll hear from South African musicians like Abdullah Ibrahim (including a song from his latest album), Hugh Masakela, and Miriam Makeba, plus anti-apartheid reggae by Alpha Blondy, Peter Tosh, and Tappa Zukie. We'll hear from Mayibuye and Amandla, cultural arms of the ANC (African National Congress), and we'll hear from Nelson Mandela in his own words.
