Director Emily James spent a year filming Climate Camp and Plane Stupid, two direct action groups in the U.K. Her film Just Do It is a window into the world of activists planning and carrying out direct actions. In this interview, James talks about why she wanted to make this film, how she won the trust of the people she filmed and the security protocol she developed to keep her material out of the hands of the police. Just Do it is showing Friday, Feb 10 at the World Community Film Festival in Vancouver.
