I've been meaning to drop this show on you poor seekers for fifteen years! Ages ago, when I discovered Dave Cloud, a SONIC KRAKATOA assaulted me! The whole Dave Cloud experience is like the bastard lovechild of Wesley Willis and Tom Waits filtered though an experimental garage band crossed with lounge-lizard crooning and pushed through the looking glass into a shamanistic explosion of psychedelic proportions. Some of his covers have slipped out onto the show over the years, but I wanted to make you seekers REALLY soak in Cloud's magic funk. I found a perfect framing device: Tony Youngblood from a radio show THEATRE INTANGIBLE on WRVU had Dave on for a live show--and as a result, Tony and his entire show got canned! I asked if he'd mind me using his final WRVU show as sonic mortar to build my own radio monument to The Cloud--and all of it combined to make an extravaganza of maniacal proportions. And when you're done with tonight's BSTF, you can still enjoy Tony's unadulterated "Get It on with Dave Cloud" show in its original form!

UPDATE: I just heard from Tony this morning that Dave Cloud passed away last night after a battle with cancer that he had kept secret. GhodDAMN, but I will miss that precious man.
