In my Takes on the World commentary yesterday, preceding my interview with Phil Giraldi, I pointed out the almost daily âupdatesâ on alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US elections and whatever crimes they can attribute to Putin while ignoring the manifest interference not only in our elections but our whole political process by Israel. Although done mostly in plain sight, this has become accepted as a normal part of US political life, or at least one that cannot be safely criticized by the media or any members of the political class. I go from there to 911 and note that questions about what actually happened and who did it, largely focusing on Bldg. 7, keep the questioning of the âofficial narrativeâ alive. I point out that the accused and âconfessed mastermindâ of the event, Khalid Sheikh Mohammad, had been water boarded black site in Poland before he decided to âcooperateâ and ended up confessing to being behind 31 attacks. That he will never be brought to trial is obvious. In Afghanistan, after mentioning the wave of Taliban attacks, I note that the number of dead Afghan soldiers and police in the first 10 months of 2016, when US officials stopped counting, dwarfs the number who died at the WTC on 911. From that I report on the large Russian military exercises that took place last week off the coast of Syria which I hadnât seen in the US press, followed by the Washington Post story about the appointment of James Jeffrey from the AIPAC spawned Washington Inst. For Near East Policy as the State Dept.âs man for Syria who promises the US will stay in Syria until Assad is gone. I then mention that while the US troop presence in Syria is a violation of the War Powers Act, four members of Congress plan to invoke it over the US role in the Saudi-UAE war on Yemen, review the Trump administrationâs war on the Palestinians, changing the status of refugees, defunding UNRWA and closing the PLO office in Washington, and conclude with John Boltonâs threat to sanction ICC judges if they attempt to bring charges against Israel and the US.
