Alan Brown takes us through the institutions of the European Union and how they are supposed to work. There has been a failure to appoint the new European Commission, the unelected government of Europe, which has hardly been reported in the UK mass media. Alan then goes on to explain the varying degrees of deals that can be done at different distances from Brussels, no Brexit, the Norwegian EEA, EFTA, WTO Canadian CIPA deal and no deal at all - Alan then explains John Maynard Keynes and Ludwig von Mises role at Versailles and Bretton Woods. Then why free movement of capital which the EU espouse enabled hyperinflation in 1920s Germany then as money swept back into the country enabled Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party rearm at an incredible rate ready to launch invasions of neighbouring countries and WWII.
Neoliberalism’s World Order: Since its inception, neoliberalism has sought not to demolish the state, but to create an international order strong enough to override democracy in the service of private property.

Former regular guest Maurice Kirk joins us after he was released from 18 months in prison in South Wales. Now living in Taunton he takes us through some of the bullying he received in Parc prison, Bridgend, South Wales. He alleges the South Wales police bullying commenced when he evicted a hard drug dealer from the flat attached to his veterinary surgery who turned out to be the son of a South Wales police superintendent. There was also the case of a machine gun which didnt work and was attached to a vintage WWI plane Maurice owned. Despite his appalling treatment in the UK criminal justice system, like an old soldier, Maurice fights on.
