A conversation between meital yaniv and Sarah Nahar, recorded April 24, 2024 at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, NY.
Quoting from the event’s publicity blurb,
"meital yaniv, an ex-israeli/ex-zionist, will read from their book bloodlines, an in-depth look into the israeli identity and the apartheid regime. bloodlines is a prayer and love letter to Palestine and describes yaniv's journey of untying, dissecting, and restructuring the knots that hold them to the land of Palestine. meital will talk with Sarah Nahar, a PhD candidate in Religion and Environmental Studies at Syracuse University and ESF, who formerly lived in Jerusalem, Palestine. Together, they will connect the ecocide, genocide, and apartheid regime in Palestine to the fight for environmental and land justice globally."
Audio both recorded on-site and edited by Wilton Vought (last name rhymes with thought) of Essential Dissent

***BIG FAT BROADCAST ADVISORY***
meital yaniv read a poem (starting at 00:29:07), the topic of which was that she metaphoically eats her shit. Usually I delete such words (shit) in order to not limit the scope of radio play, but in this case there were several instances, and they were used as a poetic metaphor. I couldn’t delete them without chopping up the dialog, ruining the flow, and losing the meaning. So I left them in, hence this broadcast advisory.
The only instances of “shit" as other than a poetic metaphor occur at 00:25:28 and 00:38:53.

There are TWO versions of this episode on the R4A server:
Version 1: A 57:30 RADIO READY edit (-24 LUFS 192kbps Mp3). Includes my intro and outro. Note above BROADCAST ADVISORY.
Version 2: A 57:30 edit optimized for INDIVIDUAL USE (-19 LUFS 64kbps Mp3). Identical content to Version 1, but a louder file encoded at a lower bitrate so it uses less storage space on your device.

The Q&A starts at 00:38:15, or should I say the A, since I omitted the Q.
