Listen to an interview with Nadja Drost about the oil industry in Ecuador. Nadja Drost, an activist and first-time filmaker, recently completed the documentary "Between Midnight and the Rooster's Crow" about a new oil pipeline in Ecuador, the OCP, and investigates the involvment of the Canadian company EnCana in the project. The interview looks at the social and environmental impacts the oil pipeline is having and examins the Canadian connection.

Also a look at the recent protests in the oil producing provinces of Orellana and Sucumbios that began on August 15th, 2005.
