Two new commentaries from Mumia Abu-Jamal. In the 2nd segment, Abu-Jamal is cut off by a guard saying, "You're not allowed to be talking to a radio station." A classic exmaple of prison harrasment and censorship in action.

These are the two most recent recordings from Mumia Abu-Jamal, recorded over phone lines from Pennsylvania's SCI Greene prison on March 9, 2000.
In the first piece, "More Than Police Brutality," Abu-Jamal speaks about the widespread corruption in police departments all over the nation, specifically discussing the ongoing investigation of the Ramparts division of the Los Angeles Police Department.
In the second piece, titled "Race and Rage in Wilkinsburg," Abu-Jamal discusses the recent shooting spree in the Pittsburgh suburb of Wilkinsburg. He goes on to talk about the general issue of racial profiling and stereotyping by both police and corporate media. However, before the end of the segment, Abu-Jamal is cut off by a guard who can be heard saying, "You're not allowed to be talking to a radio station." The line then goes dead. This documented example of censorship in action is a must-play for any progressive radio station.
