Jon Elmer is a freelance photojournalist; his writings, interviews and photographs have appeared in numerous publications worldwide, including most recently, The Journal of Palestine Studies and The Progressive.

Jon has photographed and reported from the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Western Sahara, Maoist-controlled areas of Nepal, and at anti-war and "anti-corporate globalization" demonstrations all across North America.
