This is a phone report from Nazila, who came to Montebello on the buses
from Montreal on the morning of August 20. Nazila is a migrant justice
organizer in Montreal, and a member of No One Is Illegal and the People's Global Action Bloc. Here she discusses the PGA plans for the day, as well as the case of Laibar Singh, a Punjabi refugee who was detained from being in sanctuary in Vancouver and given a deportation order. Nazila lays out the links between the Security and Prosperity Partnership and migrant rights organizing.
