This is in french. In front of the jean-coutu at the Mont-Royal metro, Caley tells a bit of the story of her five years on the street, and strums and sings her song "reality show".
I recorded it in preperation for the homelessness marathon, which is quickly approaching. Next february 20th-21st, ckut will host an all-night broadcast from the corner of st. laurent and ontario, with the aim of raising consciousness of homelessness. Also, there's the idea that it is the homeless that are best able to educate the rest of us on issues of homelessness. I don't generally take very much time to stop and talk with street workers and pan-handles, des itinerantes. Producing this report was a very interesting experience.
