Something for Halloween listeners. Scary FX sounds and Christian fundamentalist talk to start which leads to a more scholarly and truthful depiction of the Burning Times. Some interesting points are postulated which appear to have connection with certain events occurring today.

A short collage for Halloween composed of some of the current conservative Christian views and further historical information given by scholars and modern day witches interwoven with appropriate music. Includes various conservative Christian radio clips on the subject and pieces from âThe Burning Timesâ documentary.
Burning Times sound track narrated by Martha Henry and produced by Donna Read in 1990 in conjunction with the national Film Board of Canada. Please Note: This 1990 Canadian documentary in later years received criticism for the high numbers it gave for the number of women/people killed during this 400 yr period. Numbers given ranged from 100,000 to 9 million and subsequently the high numbers have been proven incorrect. It is now thought that approximately 40,000 to 100,000 were slain (as put forth currently by predominately male scholars).
