Well, Vancouver residents are finding out the answerâ¦.that's because $1 billion dollars is the security budget for the 2010 winter games.
Stark Raven spoke to anti-olympic activist and UBC professor Chris Shaw to help us makes sense of the unfolding Olympic security regime. Chris is the author of the book Five Ring Circus: Myths and Realities of the Olympic Games.
