This week we went to Teesdale and met with the South Asian Women's Rights Organization (SAWRO).
Members of SAWRO put together a panel discussion on low-income, migrant women organizing for childcare.
SAWRO is calling out for grassroots organizations and low-income women to participate in a forum they are holding this summer about mobilizing for universal childcare.
You can get in contact with SAWRO through their website at http://www.sawro.com/.
Our show reports about the issues and struggles for justice, dignity and self-determination by migrants, refugees and indigenous peoples from the frontlines.
We air on the first and third Friday of every month on CKLN 88.1FM from 6:00-6:30pm
This show is co-hosted by Sheila Hewlett and Yogi Acharya.
