Junior Brown is known for playing the guit-steel, a double-neck guitar which he designed. It features a 6-string electric on the upper neck, and a steel guitar on the bottom neck. He released his first record in 1993 after over 2 decades playing for various groups and as a session player. Now residing in Austin, he plays regularly at The Continental Club and tours occasionally. Brown talks with Connecting the notes about his life and music in this special hour long show.
