While some of Canadian civil society has actually been granted access within the G8 and G20 Summits, others remain locked outside. In Vancouver, the Vancouver Community Mobilization Network has been organizing a protest for June 26th in solidarity with marchers in Toronto. Marla Renn organizes with that network and she joined us to discuss why people decide to protest the G8 and G20. I began by asking her about public opinion concerning the G8/G20.
