First, a Wet'suwet'en Nation reserve and the community of Fort Chipewayn have both established their own community radio stations. Both communities are at the forefront of indigenous opposition to Tar Sands developments. Sakura Saunders has long helped community radio stations get established and she edits protestbarrick.net
Second, Hope In Shadows is a community-calendar produced and sold by Downtown Eastside residents. It is coordinated by Paul Ryan at PIVOT Legal Society.
