Elliot Grossman is part of Mumia Abu Jamal's current legal team. He goes over some of the evidence that has never been introduced into a court of law, like the Beverly confession.
Mumia Abu Jamal is a Black journalist and activist who was convicted of killing a police officer at a trial marked by extreme bias and injustice. He was sentenced to be executed and has been fighting of his life for close to 20 years.
His lawyer, Elliot Grossman spoke in several Canadian cities in June 2002. CKLN got a chance to interview him on his way to Toronto. He described the current legal strategy to bring evidence of innocence into the courts, who so far have refused to hear it.
