Producer: George King
Uploaded by: George King
This is a recording of the first presentation at the third Renewing the Anarchist Tradition Conference. Graciela Monteagudo is originally from Argentina and visited there in July 2002. During this talk, she updated the audience about recent events there, and showed two brief independent documentaries. Much of the talk and the questions that followed focus on the neighborhood assembly movement in Argentina. Other topics touched on included student activism, community media, barter networks, factory occupations, unusual class alliances, and the government and elections.
