We're always looking for challenging new projects; especially scripts that don’t shy away from dealing with difficult but important subject matters; which is why we’re so excited by our newest production; ‘A Mothers Love’ by Paul Kenny.

The audio-drama starts when Tony, a comprehensive school Teacher, is sent to prison for abusing one of his 14 year old female pupils; plunging his mother, Christine into a nightmare she hoped she’d never have to deal with.

Set against the backdrop of her visits and letters post sentence, her confusion soon turns to anger as she is forced to examine her true feelings for her only child as his denial and minimization brings with it a realization that their relationship must change if it is to survive the sentence and beyond…

‘A Mothers Love’ was recorded at Yellow Arch Studios in Sheffield, a place where artists such as Arctic Monkeys, Tony Christie, Goldfrapp, Funeral For a Friend and Richard Hawley have all recorded.
