NOTE: There has been another change to the Class War Battlefield Podcasts Email, after a year of trouble with the old one, I have created a new one, hopefully this one will work; it is classwarbattlefield@live.com OBAMA WINS! OBAMA WINS! Yawwwwwwwn; a few months after the election progressives are waking up to the reality that Obama is NOT ONE OF THEM. I have been saying this for two years; before that I was blind like them (thank you Chris Hedges). In Part 3 I offer you a slew of clips that are both optimistic and critical of the final four years of the Obama Administration. We begin with the most pitbullish progressive show on the internet â The Frank Factor, who just like me has a great reverence for Smiley and West and Black Agenda Report; two shows that are featured in hour two. Frank doesnât pull any punches when he describes his disdain for Obama and seems to dawn Ms. Cleoâs Cap when he points out that Obama will serve up the Austerity lunch on a. . . .well letâs say he uses some colorful language. I then move onto the Nicole Sandler who is an optimistic Obama Cheerleader (please, no comments about sexism, I am not suggesting she is a Cheerleader because she is a woman but a cheerleader because, well listen to her show, her criticisms are lightweight compared to Frankâs). When I created this podcast my intention was to give both sides to this post-election victory. I didnât want to paint the rosy picture some would if they had the chance to produce something similar or the dire picture Frank might have (and I really wanted to, but I didnât feel that was fair). There are over two and a half hours of clips dedicated to this concept. I hope you enjoy them.
