In Times of War Who Dies and Who Makes a Killing?
Dick Cheney and Halliburton

Thousands of employees of Halliburton, Vice President Cheney's former company, are working alongside American troops in Kuwait and Turkey under a package deal worth close to a billion dollars.

Pratab Chatterjee is an investigative journalist who just published a major expose that spells out in detail how Cheney's former company Halliburton and its subsidiary Brown and Root make money off the war.

He is tracing Cheney's career from the Pentagon to CEO of Halliburton and back to the US government. Halliburton, the company he first employed and that then employed him had a meteoric rise in government contracts.

Pratab Chatterjee is an investigative journalist who has focussed on the environmental and human rights impacts of large corporations and banks. You can read his articles that have become a major news item - even on the mainstream media - on the web site of Corpwatch at <www.corpwatch.org>
