CHRISTOPHER BLACK, international criminal lawyer who has successfully defended clients at the ICTY and the ICTR, political writer and analyst

Chris Black describes the character and the current abduction in Nairobi, Kenya, of his former investigator at the ICTR, Jean Chrysostome Ntirugiribambe, as an intelligent, self-effacing, gentle man who worked diligently to secure full acquittals at the ICTR for General Augustin Ndiniliyimana and other Rwandan defendants. Ntirugirbambe has spent 20 years on the run just because he tried to save people's lives and was willing to talk about what the Rwandan apartheid regime really did.

Black refers to Judi Rever's report on digitaljournal.com which gives some evidence Ntirugirbambe was snatched by Rwandan President Kagame's thugs, as many other Rwandan nationals working for the defense at the ICTR have been abducted, jailed or murdered.
