Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

Christie Marra, Family and Child Welfare attorney from the Virginia Poverty Law Center offers the different perspectives about whether kinship diversion – relying on relatives to care for children who cannot remain safely with their parents – is a good or bad practice. And during this week’s “News You Can Use,” we alert you to a fraud advisory about disability services phone calls.
This show is supported in part by a grant from the Virginia Law Foundation. The show is the sole responsibility of Central Virginia Legal Aid Society, and gives only general legal information. The show is heard every Wednesday from 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. on WRIR – 97.3 FM – Richmond Independent Radio –, and is made possible by community radio volunteers at WRIR.
