In the second episode of Back in the USSR's series on Black History Month, we focus on the integral role that slavery played in the emergence of American capitalism and how it was Martin Luther King's opposition to this capitalist system of racism and exploitation that ultimately led to his murder on April 4 1968. I also discuss the neglected but very real history of slavery in Canada.
