From GERMANY- On Conflict Zone, Tim Sebastian interviewed Mischael Modrikamon, the executive director of The Movement. Steve Bannon who was Trump's chief strategist for 7 months before returning to the media outlet Beirbart. He then moved to Brussels to help found a foundation called The Movement to support populist political parties around the world. The interview with Modrikamon is about the foundation's efforts with far-right parties in Europe.
From JAPAN- Far-right parties in France have begun fielding candidates for this years EU parliamentary elections, pledging to retake power from the EU. The British parliament overwhelmingly defeated Theresa May's proposed Brexit deal- the UK is to leave the EU on March 29th. Followed the rejection, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn called for a no-confidence vote on May, but that vote was rejected by a slim margin. Israeli PM Netanyahu announced airstrikes on Iranian targets in Syria.
From CUBA- Indigenous people in Brazil have launched a world campaign against the ethnocidal policies of newly elected president Bolsonaro. Bolsonaro signed a decree making it easier for civilians to purchase guns- Brazil has more murders than any other country in the world. Honduras has experienced 18 gun killings in the first two weeks of 2019, which the media are calling massacres. A 14 year old Palestinian died three days after being shot by Israeli troopers during a demonstration. The UN says that 27,000 Palestinians are no longer receiving any food assistance due to US funding cuts.
From RUSSIA- Former British MP George Galloway interviewed Adam Garrie of Eurasia Future. They talked about the conflict between John Bolton and Trump over the Syrian withdrawal, the trade war with China, the wall and government shutdown, and why a Parliamentary system of government would be more appropriate for modern America.
