Eran Efrati reports that he left the IDF because he objected to what it does. He spoke in great detail recently in Boston on policing and the U.S.-Israel Deadly Exchange.

The Deadly Exchange consists of American and Israeli police visiting each others' countries, all expenses paid, nominally by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and other captured but supposedly respectable NGOs, but ultimately borne by U.S. taxpayers, to learn their counterparts' "best practices" and "up-to-the-minute security measures." That's why we're seeing more military weapons, more surveillance, more "terrorist" rhetoric, and more fascism from the cops whose job is to protect us.

ADL's involvement appears designed to earn the approval of those who haven't yet learned that ADL was taken over by the Israel-can-do-no-wrong claque. It's no longer a Jewish-oriented civil rights organization. Now it's using its muscle to support and defend the state of Israel, decreeing that any criticism of Israel or its murderous policies is "antisemitic."

Eran also explains the U.S. military's procedure in giving away "surplus" tanks, bombs, drones, weapons systems, heavy riot gear, etc., to local police departments. (They must actually use it within a year, or it goes back.)
Begun in 2004, This Week In Palestine (a weekly 8am feature of Truth and Justice Radio (TJR)) is an award-winning 45-minute (or more) segment of news from Palestine and discussion of issues relevant to the Palestinians' struggle for freedom from Israel's brutal military occupation and colonization of their homeland. It speaks from the point of view of Palestinians and those who care about them.
