Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

Lydia Cacho is one of Mexico’s leading defenders of women’s rights. An investigative journalist and an activist, Lydia Cacho founded and directs a crisis center and shelter for victims of sex crimes and trafficking in Cancún, Mexico. Many of the women who seek shelter are often fleeing from violent criminals. Protecting them endangers Lydia Cacho’s own life on a daily basis. She has received numerous death threats, and in 1999, was raped in an attempt to intimidate her.
