Security costs for the 2010 Olympics have ballooned from $175 million in the 2002 Bid Book to a recent estimate of one billion dollars by Stockwell Day. This will cover everything from military camps along the Sea to Sky Highway to RCMP sitting in cruise ships out in the harbour. We speak with Chris Shaw about how threat assessments have been made and what the response of the security forces will be.
