Writer Tash Aw's first book won the 2005 Whitbread First Novel Award, the Commonwealth Writers Prize for First Novel and was on the long list for the Guardian First Book prize and the Man Booker Prize. His much anticipated second book, “Map of the Invisible World” is set amid the chaos and growing violence of post colonial Indonesia.
