The second largest oil deposit on Earth is now being utilized to satisfy North America's insatiable thirst for energy. Wonderful forests and waters and air and wildlife are being destroyed because the oil companies can do this and few have stepped forward to oppose them. Learn what the Pembina Institute is doing to slow the mad onslaught of tar sands. The Bad Kings are not going to give up their power without something revolutionary taking place. Stopping buying gasoline and diesel fuel would stop them. It is hard to conceive of anything else that can stop this environmental atrocity. Lets start talking about how we can get along without burning gasoline and diesel. I propose that the authorites divide up the roads among those that want to keep on driving cars and those that want to start riding horses.
