--Israel says air and land attacks at Gaza border with Egypt and Gaza city are in retaliation for rocket attacks from Gaza. Israeli news sources provide video of people moving on the ground who they claim were setting up rockets, but the Israeli newspaper Haaretz posts film next to their report stating, 'Gaza militants fired a Qassam rocket and several mortar shells into Israel following the air strike, but caused no injuries or damage.'

This happening as backdrop for peace talks and drum beat for war, Iran.
