If you're a regular listener to The Monday Morning Breakfast Blend you know that I'm a huge Frank Turner fan. Ever since I heard his "Love Ire & Song" cd that came out in mid 2008,with it even yielding my favorite song of the entire year,"Photosynthesis". Last years "Poetry Of The Deed" was just as solid,if not better,and again yielding my second favorite track of the entire year,"Try This At Home". He's currently on tour with Flogging Molly and since they had an off day,he was able to come to Richmond to do a one off show downstairs at The Camel. Mr.Turner was gracious enough to stop by the station yesterday afternoon before his show to record some interviews with Josh Sturgill,who of course does Mother's Milk,heard every Monday night from 1-3a.m. right here on WRIR,and myself and also record a handful of acoustic songs. I'll be playing those interviews and songs in the second hour of the show.
