The American Cancer Society (ACS) is an obstacle to cancer prevention. This national organization promotes the position that exposure to pollution causes only a small fraction of cancer cases. State of knowledge science supports the conclusion that exposure to pollution is a major cause of cancer. ACS is deliberately seeking to deceive the American public about the large amount of cancer caused by pollution. The organization does this to please corporate donors. The deceptions attempted by ACS are inexcusable. Americans should shun the ACS as a partner of the chemical and food corporations that care nothing about the protection of people from poisoning. Cancer victim Michelle Reed asks Dr. Thun pointed questions. His answers are seriously lacking in substance. ACS cannot defend its efforts to keep the public in the dark about pollution and cancer. Honor to Michelle Reed for her courage in confronting these devils.
