This interview features Dr. Peat's views on fats. He discusses the scientific and commercial factors that have contributed to the general yet false perception that certain unsaturated fats are necessary for good health (the so called "essential" fatty acids). Dr. Peat maintains that the opposite is true. More information is available at: raypeat.com
Unfortunately this interview was recorded with a bad hum in the background. I have reprocessed it in an attempt to minimize the noise. It is better, and I believe it is listenable, but it's still annoying. My apologies for this distraction.
