Committee to Stop FBI Repression
In September of 2010 the Obama administration loosed the FBI and the Grand Jury on anti-war and Palestinian Solidarity activists. This followed the reactionary Supreme court decision that criminalizes speech by claiming it is a form of "material support" under the 'Patriot Act'. The move is an attempt to stifle growing opposition to U.S. foreign policy and popular recognition that the State of Israel is little more than a criminal enterprise whose day to day policies undermine its own legitimacy. Carl Rosen of the United Electrical Workers links long standing government repression of unions and workers with Obama's attack on activists. The following speakers provide a legal update or recount their experience of FBI threats and harassment.
