Baseball is big sport in Richmond, but more than what happens on the diamond is what happens off the diamond. And the players on the field of politics are often decidedly Minor League. We hear from Charles Robideau with the Peace Education Center of Richmond who opposes the Shockoe move, Brian J. Callaghan who is a minority owner of the Flying Squirrels, and Kim Gray and Kristen Larson, both on Richmond School Board, which owns key properties on the Boulevard that stand between city administration officials and redevelopment plans. We also talk with Larson and Gray about the recent retirement announcement of Superintendent Yvonne Brandon.
