A recent article examines why deaths from infectious diseases have dropped so dramatically. It says it’s less to do with medicine and more to do with better living and working conditions for workers. Ian Hudson co-wrote the article with Robert Chernomas. He teaches economics at the University of Winnipeg and is co-author of To Live and Die in America.
