Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

Doug Gilbert is an anarchist living in the East Bay in California. He's also a bus driver. And he's currently a cohost on Free Radical Radio on Berkeley Liberation Radio. Aaaalso, Doug just wrote this book entitled, "I Saw Fire: Reflections on Riot, Revolt and the Black Bloc". This week on The Final Straw features a conversation with Doug about his experiences of resistance over the last few years: attempts to wildcat strike among transit workers in the Bay; Dineh, O'odham & non-native anarchists uniting to shut down National Socialist Movement (NSM) events in Arizona; students and non-students taking buildings over in the '09 University Occupations in CA; and more!
