Your support is essential if the service is to continue, there are bandwidth bills to pay every month and failing disk drives to replace. Volunteers do the work, but disk drives and bandwidth are not free. We encourage you to contribute financially, even a dollar helps. Click here to donate.

Radio Thrift Shop is a show that evolves over time. It is primarily an homage to freeform radio of the 1960s and early 1970s. Radio Thrift Shop features a homegrown mix of vinyl records, 78s, 45's, LPs, private press releases, and a variety of tapes and homemade / self released cds. Each edition features a unique playlist of music released between the early 20th century & next week.
Radio Thrift Shop is a lo-tech show produced by DJ Frederick and broadcast on WSCS 90.9 in New London NH and online at classicalwscs.org Saturday evenings at 10 pm eastern time. DJ Frederick is celebrating 16 years at WSCS & 40+ years on the airwaves
Radio Thrift Shop is an homage to late night college radio from the 1970's. RTS features 33s, 45s, 78s, cassettes & homemade cds. Each week I select a mix of tunes released between the early 1900's & next week. I enjoy spinning classical, jazz, folk, acoustic, folk-rock, indie pop, lo-fi, easy listening & more. Some editions of Radio Thrift Shop include documentaries about the history and culture of music and/or radio.
