Were joined this evening by Nyah and Habakkuk from St Pauls in Bristol who both follow the Rastafarian faith and are worried about the council and police actions which have brought an end to the St Pauls carnival again this year. The council has also demanded changes in the running of St Pauls Malcolm X Community Centre which was built specially after the April 1980 riots. They talk about their African roots and worry that the cancellation of the carnival has lost its focus around music and that money has begun to taint it and set one person against another.
Then we hear from homeless Ian Dumbrell whos been living in his car now in Bristol for over a year and has yet again been turned down for accommodation even though he has the money. Ian survives with the help of his good friends who he says help keep him from thoughts of suicide and despair thats come with his long spell of homelessness. He explains how hes still having to put up with police harassment and documents the fact that many Bristolians are holding down a job while living in their cars because accommodation is so expensive. Ian is a plane spotter too and he takes us through what he says is the disastrous Lockheed F-35 programme, explaining why it wont work, and explains what the B-52s in Spain supposedly over for an exercise, are really up to.
Then we talk to Jay Dyer from www.jaysanalysis.com website about psychological warfare and predictive programming which are ways of seeing much of our mainstream media using films and television for propaganda purposes. Jay wrote his thesis on symbolism in the Ian Fleming novels and explains how to read hidden meaning from some of the Bond novels and films. He also looks at the flight of Rudolf Hess to Britain in 1941 and possible link through UK Intelligence Services to Aleistair Crowley. Strategic Communications being a kind of privatised army psychological warfare office with revolving doors to higher salaries. Seeing the people as the enemy to be targeted and prepared for world events through manipulating our minds with unspoken, hidden, manipulative techniques.
