The US military stages âannualâ war games near the border of North Korea. This year the tactical goal of the âgamesâ was to decapitate the leadership of North Korea and to strike nuclear and missile centers. When North Korea responded to the games with a clear statement of their willingness to do battle with America, using all its available weapons the western media followed its practice of annual demonization of North Korea.
Steve Gowans points up the flawed approach of the UN Security Council and stresses that US occupation of South Korea and the effort to encircle China are at the heart of the problem.
